Our Location

Starting May 4th we will have a new office! The new location will be at 350 Madison Ave N, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. Please turn into the driveway and park at the back of the building. The main entrance is located off the parking lot. My office is the first glass door on the left after you enter the building. If you are walking from the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal it is a 10 -20 min walk past shops on a sidewalk. There is a covered bike stand on your left before you enter the building.

My name is Sharon Denning and I am licensed to tutor people in the State of Washington and the City of Bainbridge Island. I went to the California Maritime Academy and in 2004 received a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation with a Minor in Business Administration and a Global Logistic Specialist certification. I sailed deep sea for 11 years and during that time became licensed as a Master of Self-Propelled Vessels Not Including Auxiliary Sail of Less Than 1,600 Gross Registered Tons (GRT) Upon Oceans; Master of Towing Vessels Upon Oceans; and Chief Mate Of Self Propelled Vessels Not Including Auxiliary Sail of Unlimited Tonnage Upon Oceans. During that time I self studied and passed my Chief Mate Unlimited test on the first attempt. Since then my husband and I had our daughter and later I began working as a State of Washington Loan Signing Agent and Notary Public which includes the required background checks and state licenses. More recently I have been assisting at my daughter's school and teaching children and adults how to swim.
